This property has a variety of important habitat types for game species and declining migratory birds, reptiles and amphibians, including hardwood forests, shrub-lands, grasslands, and pond. The Veterans Wildlife Management Area is 2500 acres of undeveloped land acquired by the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources is a central location for public hunting, fishing, and wildlife recreation in Central Kentucky.
